Size advantage is a strange thing. Sometimes the advantage goes to the larger fighter, but precision and timing can give advantage to the smaller competitor at times as well. For this friendly sparring match, it was one of those times.
In the video above it clearly didn’t help at all. Watch as 140 lb Scott Lawton takes on 300 lb Strongman Eddie Hall in a friendly sparring match.
It’s apparently in preparation for Hall’s first boxing match.
Lawton simply moves and picks his shots, catching the much larger Hall with several nice combos and big punches. Hall does his best to land big punches, but can hardly ever get in position to do so, with Lawton’s constant movement.
By the end of the round it’s clear who got the better of the other.
