Brendan Schaub has put on an impressive career as a mixed martial artist. A knockout artist, Schaub made a name for himself on The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights. The fighter made it to the finals of the season, before suffering a loss in the finale. Still, Schaub went on to form a professional record of 10-5 in the sport of mixed martial arts.
Most recently, Schaub had found himself on a two fight losing streak. A split decision loss to Andrei Arlovski back in 2014 was followed by a tough TKO loss to Travis Browne at UFC 181. Since then, Schaub had decided to call an end to his mixed martial arts career.
The former fighter is now a successful stand-up comedian and an avid podcaster. A friend of longtime UFC commentating veteran Joe Rogan, Schaub is also a regular on Rogan’s acclaimed podcast Joe Rogan Experience. That being said, some fight fans are still curious as to if Schaub will ever make a return to the sport of mixed martial arts. To that, the former fighter now has an answer.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Schaub revealed that he has no plans to ever return to the octagon or to professional fighting. Rather, the comedian is now working on his career in stand-up.
