Former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton Jackson has shifted over to the competing Bellator MMA promotion. After getting a couple fights under his belt with the promotion, “Rampage” is now set to face off in the upcoming Bellator MMA heavyweight grand prix tournament that is set to determine the next champion of the division.
Jackson is set to face off against fellow former UFC competitor Chael Sonnen for the tournament at Bellator 192. The event goes down Jan. 20, 2018 inside The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.
Jackson didn’t sound to thrilled about having to face off with Sonnen as he’s not a fan of MMA fighter’s who like to win using their takedowns. However, fights always start standing so Chael will need to be careful against the bigger, more powerful striker in Jackson.
