Back in the United States, readying for his long awaited return to the UFC, Khabib Nurmagomedov is staying humble, despite his super-star status, and mopping up the mats after a training session at the American Kickboxing Academy.
The gesture has pleased AKA founder and head coach Javier Mendez so much, that he couldn’t help but take a photo and share his thoughts on his official Instagram account.
Mendez said, “Stay Humble @khabib_nurmagomedov and even when he wins @ufc Gold Humble he will stay.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov returns to action against Edson Barboza on Dec. 30, at UFC 219. This will be the first time Nurmagomedov returns to the octagon after his botched UFC 209 weight cut where he was scheduled to fight Tony Ferguson.
