UFC mega-star Nate Diaz has revealed that the UFC has offered him a title shot in any weight class of his choosing, still though this isn’t enough to get him to agree to a return to the Octagon.
It was recently made public that the UFC had offered Diaz a shot at welterweight champion Tyron Woodley at UFC 219. However, the promotion wouldn’t budge after he allegedly asked them for $15 million dollars to take the fight.
Nate Diaz, on the hunt for more money, is not interested in stepping foot inside the Octagon anymore it would seem, as he looks to transition to the world of boxing, much like his adversary Conor McGregor.
Drawing names make substantially more in boxing than in MMA, and there’s no kicks, no wrestling, and no BJJ. It’s a one discipline sport, and when you have hands like Nate, and the ability to fill arenas like Nate, the appeal is there.
Taking to his own verified Twitter, Nate Diaz stated,
Ufc offered me title fight in any weight class Im kool though I’ll givem a shot when they do something good
On to the next sport for now [Boxing emojis]
