The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has undergone some drastic changes over the years. Just last year the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion was sold to William Morris Endeavor for a staggering $4.2 billion, a dazzling total next to the $2 million the Fertittas brothers purchased the company for back in 2001. In 2015 however, the UFC went through a different change.
The promotion elected to take part in the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) during the year, bringing in a new era of highly detailed drug tests for the UFC’s competitors. The use of Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT), for instance, is no longer permissible with a Doctor’s approval. As a result, some fighters under the UFC banner have undergone physical transformations over the years. Among them, UFC legends Vitor Belfort and Wanderlei Silva appear to have undergone some changes to their physiques.
In the photo, Wanderlei Silva can be seen donning his Bellator MMA gloves. While the 41-year-old may not be in the same ripped and toned shape of his earlier years, the fighter can be seen showing off his fit form below.
