The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was in Winnipeg, Canada on Saturday night, Dec. 16, for another big night of fights. The world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion hosted UFC on FOX 26 inside the Bell MTS Place for the Winnipeg crowd and for fight fans worldwide. In perhaps the most stunning knockout performance from the night’s event, Team Alpha Male’s Josh Emmett made short work of his opponent. Now fight fans can see the intense finish all over again.
Josh Emmett was riding a unanimous decision victory over Felipe Arantes as the fighter made his way into the octagon for UFC on FOX 26. For his opponent, Emmett went toe-to-toe with Ricardo Lamas in the co-main event for the Winnipeg crowd.
Lamas was on a winning streak of his own, but suffered a rough knockout loss to his opponent on Saturday night none the less. With a brutal hook, Emmett took out Lamas in the first round for a vicious knockout victory. Emmett is now 13-1 in his impressive mixed martial arts career. Lamas now has a record of 18-6 following his recent loss.
