Rumor: McGregor’s Coach And Management Concerned He’s Hitting Jon Jones Levels

UFC megastar Conor McGregor has been enjoying himself after suffering a loss in his professional boxing debut. The UFC lightweight champion faced off against Floyd Mayweather Jr. inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. on Aug. 26, 2017. Mayweather managed to put “Notorious” away in the tenth round of their match up, but both fighters still saw massive paydays from the fight. McGregor is believed to have earned a huge sum of $100 million from the fight.

However, the fighter has since come under some scrutiny for his actions outside of the octagon. For instance, “Notorious” recently had an alleged run in with the Irish organized crime group known as the Kinahan gang. Now a new rumor suggests that there may be seem turmoil within the McGregor camp, as the fighter’s coaches and management allegedly believe that “Notorious” is perhaps getting out of control.

News source Middle Easy has reported the following rumor on Conor McGregor:

“Rumors say Conor McGregor’s hard partying ways are starting to catch-up with him. Since his loss to Floyd Mayweather, McGregor has been on a bender rarely taking a break from ‘partying’. Take what you will what vice McGregor is using to partying but word is his coaches and management team are concerned with Mac hitting a ‘Jon Jones’ type path.”

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones recently failed another drug test. After coming back from a suspension due to a failed drug test, the fighter faced off at UFC 214 earlier this year. However, Jones was flagged by USADA once again as the fighter failed his drug test for the event. UFC President Dana White has gone on to comment on Jones potential to compete, had the fighter not repeatedly faced suspensions and had been repeatedly stripped of his title.
