Fresno, Calif. is hosting a stunning night of fights inside the Save Mart Center tonight. This time around, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is delivering UFC Fight Night 123 for excited fight fans. The night’s headliner will feature a featherweight battle between Cub Swanson and Brian Ortega. But, the UFC will be showing off a dazzling preliminary card before getting to the night’s big headliner. Here is a look at the night’s latest UFC results.
A bantamweight war is going down on the FS1 preliminary card right now, as Luke Sanders and Andre Soukhamthath are throwing down for the Fresno crowd.
Soukhamthath opened up the first round with a head kick, but Sanders began pressing forward with a series of punch combinations. Sanders continued to dictate the fight’s pace, as the fighter landed a tough body kick. In the final minute of the first round, Sanders managed to pressure Soukhamthath into the fence and begin pummeling his opponent with some big strikes. Soukhamthath was unable to escape the position before the sound of the bell, making for a dominant round for Sanders.
Sanders kicked off the second round at a furious pace, but Soukhamthath retaliated with a powerful combination. Soukhamthath then dropped his opponent with a devastating strike, as the referee brought an end to the night’s match up for a TKO victory for Soukhamthath.
