Bobby Green Puts on a Bloody Battle With Erik Koch | UFC Results

Fight fans are gathering inside the Spectrum Center tonight, Jan. 27, for the next event from the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is hosting UFC on FOX 27 for the excited crowd of spectators.

The featured prelim of the night is now set to go down, as lightweights Bobby Green and Erik Koch are going toe-to-toe for the Charlotte crowd. Check out the UFC results from the exciting match down below.

Koch and Green opened the first round with a short exchange. Koch began working the legs of his opponent with brutal kicks, but Green stayed in the pocket and began countering the fighter.

Koch stuck Green with a nasty right hook in the final two minutes of the round, before forcing the fighter into the fence. Koch then tripped Green to the ground, making his way to the mount position.

Green gave Koch his back, but managed to avoid the rear-naked choke and get to his feet. This was seemingly a dominant round for Koch.

The second round opened with Koch returning to his leg kicks. Green tried to enter an exchange with the fighter, but Koch entered the clinch with the fighter and dished out some damaging strikes.

Green managed to pull out of the position and retaliate with some powerful strikes of his own. The fighter began pushing the pace on Koch, with the two fighters entering a series of dirty boxing exchanges.

In the final two minutes of the round, Green began walking down Koch with his hands at his waist, taunting the fighter to enter a brawl with Green. The two fighters then entered a brutal exchange.

The final round kicked off at a brutal pace, as the two mixed martial arts warriors entered yet another exchange. Koch forced his opponent into the fence, but Green quickly made his way back to the center of the octagon.

With three minutes left in the fight, Green continued to walk down his opponent. Koch offered a few good counters of his own, but Green appeared to be getting the better of the exchanges.

Green then managed to take Koch to the ground, gaining side control over the fighter with two minutes left in the fight. However, Koch was able to reverse the position.

Green gave Koch his back, but managed to roll out of the position and gain side control over Koch once again. In the final moments of the fight, Green began raining down brutal ground and pound over his opponent until the sound of the bell.
