UFC lightweight top contender Khabib Nurmagomedov’s brother was initially set to make his octagon debut. However, it would appear that the fighter has since been pulled from his upcoming match up.
Abubakar Nurmagomedov, brother to the top contender, has put on an impressive career in the sport of mixed martial arts in his own right. With a record of 14-1, the fighter was locked in to make his octagon debut at UFC Fight Night 125. That being said, new reports are claiming the fighter has been removed from the match up.
The fighter was initially set to throw down with Sergio Moraes at the event. As reported by Combate, Nurmagomedov was forced to withdraw from the match up for undisclosed reasons.
Tim Means will now be facing off against Sergio Moraes. UFC Fight Night 125 goes down Feb. 3 in Belem, Brazil.
