Cyborg Kicks Up Dust, Accuses Anderson Of Immigration Fraud, Contacts Authorities

Late last night, in a prepared statement, UFC female featherweight champion Cris Cyborg revealed that she has agreed to fight female bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes, in July.

The champ’s statement read, I have agreed to fight Amanda Nunes Leoa July 7th in Las Vegas as part of #UFC226 and #InternationalFightWeek. I am now waiting for my manager to work with the UFC on a bout agreement so we can make #CyborgVNunes #TheSuperFight official. #CyborgNation us versus them!

However, Nunes wasn’t Cyborg’s first choice in a return to UFC action, having been vocal about fighting true featherweight, and Invicta FC champ Megan Anderson.

Anderson though, has been inactive as of late, but she does pose one of the biggest threats to Cyborg’s reign, partly in due to her size, but also her striking pedigree.

In all fairness it’s the fight that makes the most sense for the division, but not necessarily PPV dollars.

Which is why UFC president Dana White is making the hard push for Cyborg to fight bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes.

Well, despite Cyborg’s statement last night that she would fight her fellow Brazilian UFC champion, she went on the offensive, attacking Megan Anderson, and even insinuating that the Invicta champion commited immigration fraud.

Cyborg also tagged the immigration authortities in her claim.

And as this dialogue between the top two ranked female featherweights continued, Cyborg decided to accuse Anderson of committing immigration fraud, and even tagged the immigration authorities in the tweet.

And just to clear things up, Cyborg sent Anderson this video, proving these words were hers, and not that of her infamous boyfriend Ray Elbe.
