UFC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg has now decided to name her next opponent. This time around, the fighter wants to face off against another former title holder. Cyborg wants Germaine de Randamie next.
Cyborg is riding yet another victory inside the octagon, having earning a decision win over former bantamweight champion Holly Holm at UFC 219. Having not lost since 2005, Cyborg is now in a 19 fight winning streak and is ready to set her sights on her next opponent.
Germaine de Randamie was the inaugural UFC featherweight champion. The fighter earned a close and controversial decision victory over Holly Holm for the title. The UFC would later strip de Randamie of her title after the fighter revealed an “unwillingness to fight the No. 1 ranked contender.”
With that in mind, it would appear that Cyborg would now like for things to come full circle. Taking to her Twitter account, Cyborg revealed that she would prefer to fight de Randamie than UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes. After being pressed on the matter by a fan, Cyborg doubled down on her wish to face off against the former featherweight champion.
