As a reminder, MMA is more than just a sport. It’s a real-life man vs. man, gladiators reborn spectacle for the ages.
In Roman times, they put man vs. man fights on to the death, and while modern times have scaled down this winner takes all mentality, this new injury from Valor fights reminds us that serious injury is still possible in the modern day arena of gladiators.
I wish we had more information on how this cut happened, who this young fighter is, and who did it to him. But sadly, all we have is a photo with a not so informative description of what happened.
Although, if pictures really do speak 1000 words, then no more information is needed on this subject.
