Out of nowhere, boxing great Floyd Mayweather decided today was a good time to insult Conor McGregor, the man he defeated in a 2017 super-fight for the ages.
Taking to Floyd verified instagram, the retired boxer stated,
I already fucked you up in 2017 now they about to fuck you up in 2018. You’re about to start your new year off with a bang ??⛏?⚰️
Obviously Floyd Mayweather won the 2017 boxing attraction known as MayMac, TKO’ing the Irish UFC star in round 10 of their highly anticipated bout.
However, what’s puzzling is why Floyd would pick today to hash up old wounds, and throw salt all over Conor’s name.
We aren’t complaining, just wondering why.
Conor McGregor is expected to return to UFC action later this year. However, according to his head coach and UFC president Dana White, McGregor wants more than anything to face Floyd Mayweather for a second time.
While the likilhood of that happening is pretty slim, Floyd is predicting nothing but a downfall for his former opponent in the New Year.
Thoughts?
