Former UFC bantamweight champion and all around MMA superstar Ronda Rousey made her WWE debut over the weekend. Now former UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk has come forward with a reaction to the recent news.
Sunday night, Jan. 28, featured WWE’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view event in Philadelphia. After the first women’s Royal Rumble, Ronda Rousey made a shocking appearance. The former UFC champion walked to the ring wearing the famous leather jacket of WWE legend Roddy Piper while sporting the professional wrestler’s “Rowdy” moniker.
Joanna Jedrzejczyk later took to social media to offer her thoughts on the matter. Over Instagram, Jedrzejczyk stated:
“Congrats Girl @rondarousey on your #WWE debut Have you watched RR in action?”
Joanna Jedrzejczyk is now gearing up to face off for the strawweight title once again. The former champion will be taking on reigning title holder Rose Namajunas in a highly anticipated rematch at UFC 223.
The event will take place April 7 inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Jedrzejczyk will be looking to avenge her first round TKO loss to the champion as she faces off inside the octagon.
