Athletes receive few honors as grand as the opportunity to carry the Olympic torch. With the Winter Olympics just around the corner, Joanna Jedrzejczyk has now been able to make that dream come true. Of course, the Polish fighter decided to spice things up a bit. A video of the former champion getting funky and dancing with the Olympic torch is now making its way across the internet.
The 2018 Winter Olympics will be taking place Feb. 9-25 in Pyeongchang County, South Korea. Former UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk has now gone to social media to share the great news that she has been honored to wield the Olympic torch for her home country.
Taking to Instagram, Jedrzejczyk stated:

Within the Instagram post, Jedrzejczyk can be seen in a video dancing while carrying the torch. The former champion’s funny moment has since been getting some attention from fight fans.
Jedrzejczyk suffered the first and only loss of her mixed martial arts career at UFC 217, facing a title ending defeat to Rose Namajunas.
