UFC President Dana White’s reaction to Francis Ngannou’s rough main event loss at UFC 220 is now gaining some traction among fight fans.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosted UFC 220 inside the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts on Saturday night, Jan. 20. The headliner for the event featured a heavyweight war for the title between reigning champion Stipe Miocic and rising knockout artist Francis Ngannou.
Ngannou earned a shot at the title with a brutal knockout win over former K-1 champion Alistair Overeem. Since then, the mixed martial arts promotion has been highly promoting Ngannou’s title fight against Miocic.
However, the promotion of the fight has been criticized as being heavily favored for Francis Ngannou. UFC President Dana White’s promotion of the event has been brought under question in particular.
Stipe Miocic would go on to criticize the promotion’s lack of unbiased coverage on the upcoming event. Well, Miocic earned a dominant unanimous decision victory over Ngannou in Saturday’s brutal main event.
