After a two year layoff from competition thanks to a lengthy doping violations suspension from USADA, former UFC light-heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida returned to action last October to get knocked out in the first round.
It was his third straight loss, having previously dropped fights to Yoel Romero and Luke Rockhold, respectively.
Always facing the top tier in competition, Machida’s drug testing failure may have also had unforeseen consequences.
For one, the once unbeaten UFC champion is now 39-years-old, and two, since being busted by USADA, his physique has undergone a crazy transformation.
