Are The Next Two UFC Pay-Per-Views Worth Your Hard Earned $120.00?

With a buying price of $59.99 for the HD broadcast of UFC pay-per-views, many fight fans are voicing concerns over the watering down of the product on the UFC schedule.

With intriguing headliners to come, a closer look at the next two UFC pay-per-views shows less than intriguing matchups throughout the events, but these cards still come back to the consumer at full price.

It would seem that the days of the mega-cards are gone, and the UFC under new ownership is going with Boxing’s pay-per-view model. Something UFC president Dana White said he would never do.

Instead of delivering fight fans notable fighters from top to bottom, the UFC’s new model puts compelling main events, and sometimes compelling co-main events as fight night’s primary focus, and fills the rest of the card with less than top ranked athletes to fill the void.

We’ve listed the next two UFC pay-per-views fight cards in this article, and a close look at them shows only three notable fights of interest. In days past we would get at least five on one fight card, three across two pay-per-views does seem a bit thin.

Most notable are the Stipe Miocic vs. Francis Ngannou and Daniel Cormer vs. Volkan Oezdemir fights slated for UFC 220. However, outside of those two fights, the only compelling bout of note will happen another $60.00 later in the main event of UFC 221.

Just take a gander at these next two cards and count up how many fights have main stream appeal.
