UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier put on a dominant performance over rising title challenger Volkan Oezdemir over the weekend. Now fight fans can experience the stunning performance all over again with a newly released highlight video.
Fight fan poured into the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts on Saturday, Jan. 20, for the latest highly anticipated fight card from the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). This time around, the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion hosted UFC 220.
Co-headlining the night’s event, Daniel Cormier faced off against Volkan Oezdemir in a battle for the light heavyweight belt. Cormier ultimately put on a dominant display inside the octagon, earning a TKO victory over Oezdemir in the second round.
Cormier was coming off of a knockout loss to Jon Jones that was later overturned into a no contest, as Jones failed a drug test within relationship to the event.
