Stipe Miocic has decided to name the opponent currently on his radar, to much of the internet’s hilarity.
UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic made UFC history over the weekend. The fighter headlined UFC 220 on Saturday, Jan. 20, in a highly anticipated match up against rising knockout artist Francis Ngannou.
Miocic put on a dominant performance over his opponent, earning a unanimous decision victory after putting on a five round war with the title challenger. Miocic broke the record for most consecutive UFC heavyweight title defenses with his third victory at UFC 220.
In the UFC 220 post-fight press conference, Miocic was asked which fighter is on his radar now that Francis Ngannou has been defeated. The UFC heavyweight champion hilarious responded:
“Yeah. When my daughter is born and she’s like 18 and starts dating, every dude that starts talking to her I’m going to smash them.”
