SBG Ireland head coach John Kavanagh has come forward with a statement for all of those trying to pressure “Notorious” into a quick octagon return. However, Tony Ferguson has blasted back at Conor’s coach with a statement of his own.
UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson has created a mantra of sorts, “defend of vacate.” The phrase is now being repeated by many of the contenders within the lightweight division, as fighters continue to wait for their chance to fight for Conor McGregor’s lightweight title.
“Notorious” has not competed inside the octagon since winning the lightweight title back in 2016, as McGregor is now coming off of a TKO loss in his professional boxing debut. As a result, “El Cucuy” is ready to unify his title or for McGregor to vacate the belt entirely.
Taking to Twitter, John Kavanagh stated “DefendorVacate” over and over again. The message was paired with a video of zombies shambling after their victim.

Now Tony Ferguson has decided to fire back with a response of his own for Kavanagh and the entire SBG Ireland gym.
