Interim UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson is riding a title earning victory over Kevin Lee. The two battled it out for the interim title back at UFC 216, with “El Cucuy” walking away with a third round submission win. That being said, a video of Ferguson hitting the speed bag has surfaced to the internet and the interim champion’s technique is questionable.
“El Cucuy” is likely hard in training for a title unification match against lightweight champion Conor McGregor. McGregor has yet to officially return to the UFC, with no matches yet announced for the fighter.
However, UFC President Dana White has voiced his opinion on the matter, claiming that the octagon return of “Notorious” should be a title unification match against none other that Tony Ferguson.
Now Ferguson has taken to social media to share a video with his fight fans of himself hitting the speed bag. However, as seen in the Instagram post below, “El Cucuy” appears to still be working on his technique at using the bag. Check it out in the video provided.
