Late Tuesday night UFC super star Nate Diaz announced that after more than a year out of action he’s eyeing a fight for May or June of this year.
Taking to his instagram Nate stated, Sick of sitting around waiting for you fuckers to do shit there’s no excitement in this fight shit step your games up I’ll see u around may,June.
Sincerely The Real Champ ??
And with that in mind, two of the UFC’s top lightweights in the world answered the call to welcome Nate back within just minutes of his declaration.
Former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez was the first one to answer the call to action, eyeing a return around the same time frame, Alvarez jumped at the opportunity to be first in line.
The former champ stated, “May-June is perfect @NateDiaz209 , see you then big guy ?? ?#Eastcoastbeastcoast #Ufcmostviolent”

Four minutes after the Eddie Alvarez callout, a former UFC title challenger, Kevin Lee jumped at the chance as well.
And though not as high-profile of a fight as facing a former champion the likes of Eddie Alvarez, Lee took a little more threatening and less respectful approach in the answering of Nate.
“Put yo money up then @NateDiaz209 Or shut the fuck up and go back to riding bikes around the park”

Fight fans will likely still continue to hold out hope for a third Conor McGregor fight, being as the two UFC stars are 1-1 against each other and need a conclusion to the series.
However, both Lee and Alvarez represent the top of the lightweight food chain, and pose their own challenges to the Stockton based fighter.
Who would you like to see Nate return against?
