Mixed martial arts is a tough and demanding sport. While the training is difficulty grueling in its own right, the matches inside the cage can be brutal. However, things did not end on quite as spectacular of a finale in this match up as many others.
Lloyd Marshbanks faced off against Magomed Ankalaev in a light heavyweight match up at the Grand Prix Akhmat in a battle for division dominance. However, the fight did not last long.
Marshbanks shot for a takedown early in the fight, missing his mark and landing on the floor. Marshbanks then simply covered up and allowed his opponent to finish him from the ground.
