“Black Beast” Calls His Shot, Wants Ngannou Next

UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis pulverized his way to another knockout victory on Sunday night, Feb. 18. Now “The Black Beast” has come forward to call out his next target.

Austin, Texas hosted UFC Fight Night 126 over the weekend, with Derrick Lewis and Marcin Tybura co-headlining the night’s event. The two heavyweight warriors battle it out, with Lewis earning a knockout victory in the third round.

Speaking to reporter Laura Sanko after the match, Lewis revealed that he is now looking to face rising knockout artist and former title challenger Francis Ngannou. While the heavyweight is looking to fight any contender in the top five position, Lewis made sure to note Ngannou before the rest.

“I would like to get Francis, Blaydes, Fabricio, Overeem. Any one of the top guys… actually anyone that signs the contract first.” Lewis stated.

Francis Ngannou is coming off of a rough unanimous decision defeat to reigning UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic. Ngannou earned the title shot with a brutal first round knockout finish over former K-1 champion Alistair Overeem. However, things simply did not go the fighter’s way when facing the champion.
