Carla Esparza Works On Her Underwater Fighting Skills Ahead Of UFC Return

It would appear that UFC strawweight Carla Esparza has elected a rather unorthodox approach to preparing for her upcoming match up.

Esparza is currently riding a two fight winning streak inside the octagon. With a stunning record of 13-4, the mixed martial arts warrior will be looking to keep her winning streak alive as she faces off against Claudia Gadelha.

The two fighters will throw down at UFC 225. The event will take place June 9 inside the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Carla Esparza has since taken to social media to share a photo of herself enjoying some time in the Cebu, Philippines. In the Instagram posts below, the fighter can be seen taking part in what she jokingly refers to as “under water fighting” while swimming with whale sharks.
