Conor McGregor On Why Floyd Must Fight In The UFC, Or Tarnish His Legacy

With the odds stacked against him, Conor McGregor took on the sport of boxing’s most talented athlete in 2017.

Not many people gave him a chance in the boxing match, and as history showed they were right. Conor McGregor got stopped in round 10 of their super-fight.

In the lead up to the event that was dubbed “MayMac”, Floyd Mayweather said that regardless of what happened in the fight, he would crossover into Conor’s world next, and face the UFC lightweight champion in his own sport.

That of course, has yet to happen. However, in the past two days Floyd Mayweather has teased an MMA debut with two new videos of himself inside an Octagon.

The UFC lightweight champion believes that if Floyd does not make the attempt to live up to his words and face him in the UFC, the choice to avoid the fight will forever haunt him.

Conor McGregor stated, “If it is [for publicity], it will follow him for the rest of his days. If it is, it will follow him for the rest of his days that he did not do it. I said I would do it, and I stepped up and I done it. His time now. His go now.”

The UFC has reportedly offered Floyd Mayweather an opportunity to make a Billion Dollars over the course of a multi-fight contract.
