When Conor McGregor was preparing to make his professional boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather Jr., “Notorious” suffered some serious ridicule from boxing notables. McGregor would end up going viral for what was known as the #McGregorChallenge, in which many pro boxers parodied McGregor’s warm up routine. With that in mind, Mayweather is now receiving a new level of flack for his recent message.
Undefeated pugilist legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. slipped back into retirement after earning a TKO victory over Conor McGregor in 2017. With that in mind, Mayweather has since been offering hints that he be making a run within the UFC. Now UFC notables are taking to the internet to ridicule the former boxer for his recent message.
Mayweather recently hinted to making a run within the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) by posting a video of himself inside an octagon.
Mayweather said, “2018. Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather. MMA. What are the odds?”

Former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez later sat down with TMZ Sports to offer his thoughts on Mayweather’s video.
“How f**kin weird did that look, first of all? You know how men dress up as women during Halloween? That’s what that looked like to me. When he got in the octagon, it looked like that. It looked very odd.”
