The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is only days away from kicking off the promotion’s next big fight card. With that in mind, there has been a recent change to the night’s event.
UFC competitors Gilbert Burns and Olivier Aubin-Mercier were initially set to face off on the night’s card, but the bout has since been removed from the event. The UFC has since come forward with a statement claiming that Burns was not permitted to cut weight for the fight by the UFC medical staff. As a result, the fighter was pulled from the match up.
With UFC on FOX 28 now short a bout, the time has come to take another look at the night’s line up. The exciting fight card will take place Feb. 24 inside the Amway Center in Orlando, Fla.
