Undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. pulled himself out of retirement in 2017 to face off against UFC superstar Conor McGregor inside the squared circle. While “Money” Mayweather hung up his gloves once again after defeating “Notorious,” the retired pugilist is continuing to talk trash with McGregor.
Conor McGregor made his professional boxing debut back on Aug. 26, 2017. Inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., the UFC megastar went toe-to-toe with none other than Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Mayweather ultimately earned a TKO victory over McGregor in the tenth round, putting the boxer at 50-0 in his illustrious career. Slipping into retirement quickly after the win, Mayweather has since been hinting to a possible run inside the octagon.
Rumors have been swirling that Mayweather and McGregor are in talks for a match up under the banner of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Now Mayweather has decided to add to the hype by offering some more vicious trash-talk to Conor McGregor.
