Former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar was initially set to face off against reigning UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway at UFC 218. However, the fighter was forced to pull out of the match due to an injury.
The two mixed martial arts warriors were rescheduled to face off at UFC 222, but Holloway has since pulled out of the fight due to an undisclosed injury. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is now scrambling to find a replacement opponent for Edgar.
Well, Frankie Edgar has taken to social media to reveal that he will face any willing fighter in any weight class. Check out Edgar’s statement from Twitter down below:
