Undefeated boxing phenom Floyd Mayweather Jr. is currently retired from the sport. The legendary pugilist made a final performance in 2017, entering the squared circle across from UFC superstar Conor McGregor.
“Money” Mayweather earned a TKO victory over “Notorious” in the tenth round, with both fighters walking away with massive paydays for their highly successful pay-per-view event. Since then, Mayweather and McGregor have had a few trash-talking exchanges over social media.
Mayweather has even been hinting to a possible run inside the octagon, as seen in the video above. As a result, many fight fans have begun to wonder if the two competitors are gearing up for a rematch. That being said, there is another rumor that has caught longtime UFC commentating veteran Joe Rogan’s attention.
During his podcast, Rogan discussed a rumor that Mayweather will soon be facing WWE star turned fighter C.M. Punk. Rogan discusses with his podcast co-host Brendan Schaub that he believes the fight may actually happen.
