Unbeaten Brazilian Jiu Jitsu world champion Mackenzie Dern is set to make her highly anticipated UFC debut this weekend as part of the UFC 222 fight card.
Dern faces off with two fight UFC veteran Ashley Yoder in the night’s Fox Sports 1 prelims headliner. As such she arrived at her first UFC fight week today, got her first UFC fight week makeover, and is hitting the media circuit in anticipation of her weekend bout.
UFC 222 goes down Saturday, from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. In the night’s main event, Cris Cyborg returns in defense of her featherweight world title against UFC newcomer Yana Kunitskaya. In the night’s co-main event Frankie Edgar faces off with the top ranked Brian Ortega. The night’s main card airs live on pay-per-view.
