In Saturday’s UFC 221 co-main event, a legend in Mark Hunt returned to action against a surging young prospect, Curtis Blaydes.
After a dominant first round that saw Hunt nearly take out the national champion Junior College wrestler, Hunt would have little left to offer his competitor.
Instead of earning a signature Mark Hunt victory, the Australian would drop a lopsided decision in front of his hometown crowd.
Curtis Blaydes would not be denied his takedown, and even set a new record with 10 successful takedowns, a first in a UFC heavyweight bout.
Hunt though, remained classy after the fight, as evidenced by the following Instagram reaction from the legend.
