UFC knockout artist Mike Perry suffered a tough defeat over the weekend that has now put the fighter on a losing streak. Perry has since come forward with a statement concerning the difficult loss.
UFC on FOX 28 took place on Saturday night, Feb. 24. The highly anticipated fight card went down inside the Amway Center in Orlando, Fla.
Featured on the night’s main card, Florida native Mike Perry went toe-to-toe with Max Griffin in a welterweight war. Perry was coming off of a unanimous decision loss to Santiago Ponzinibbio, leaving much for the knockout artist to prove.
However, things simply did not go the fighter’s way. Perry suffered a unanimous decision loss to Griffin. Taking to Twitter, Perry has now offered a statement following the defeat.
“Back to the drawing board. I’m gonna enjoy some time off. Good job @maxPAINmma . . . The love and support from my friends and loved ones is great and that’s all that matters right now. I’m still me so if you hating #DigAHole #JumpRightIn”
