For the rest of their lives, Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz will be linked together for their history making two fight series in the UFC.
With Nate Diaz becoming the first man to defeat McGregor inside the Octagon, the two set up a rematch for the ages that broke every pay-per-view record the UFC ever had.
McGregor would go on to fight Floyd Mayweather, but even in the lead up to that fight, he could not dodge the Nate Diaz questions. And the same goes for Nate, even in his lengthy absence from the UFC, the Conor McGregor subject comes up at every turn.
Both men are expected to complete their trilogy eventually, and while many thought the fight was the only thing that could get Nate Diaz off the sidelines, he assured ESPN in a new interview that that’s just not so.
Nate Diaz hasn’t even mentioned Conor McGregor for months, but that all changed this week.
Check it out:
“He’s just living his life right now and he’s got a magnifying glass on him, whatever he’s doing,” Diaz said. “I don’t give a fuck what he does. I’m sure he’s up and down. ‘Do I want to be in these lights? Why am I not in these lights? I need to get in the lights. I need to get out of the lights.’ It’s a crazy roller coaster.”
