The world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion hosted an exhilarating night of fights over the weekend. This time around, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) took to Orlando, Fla. to offer fight fans the highly anticipated fight card of UFC on FOX 28.
In the night’s main event, Team Alpha Male’s Josh Emmett faced off against Jeremy Stephens. The two mixed martial arts warriors put on a brutal brawl for the Orlando crowd from inside the Amway Center.
In the end, Stephens earned a knockout victory over his opponent. However, the finish would later draw some controversy as some of Stephens’ strikes were allegedly illegal blows to the head of his opponent.
With the exciting night of fights having now come to a close, the time has come to take a look at the UFC Athlete Outfitting payouts for UFC on FOX 28. As part of the UFC’s uniform deal with Reebok, the sports apparel company compensates UFC fighters for their performances inside the octagon.
The compensation is based on the total number of performances the fighter has achieved under the UFC, Zuffa-era of the WEC and the Zuffa-era of Strikeforce. This time around, 16 fighters were compensated with $5,000 or less for their performances.
