Tonight’s UFC 221 televised prelims opener ended with a bang, as top flyweight ranked Jussier Formiga and Ben Nguyen were battling it out to try and make a case for a title shot.
In the end, Nguyen would get choked out cold after a spinning backfist dropped him, and Formiga turned the lights out once the fight hit the mat.
After three fights that went the distance on the UFC 221 fight pass prelims, this finish was a breath of fresh air, and revitalized the Australian crowd in attendance.
