UFC lightweight Sage Northcutt went on a social media campaign as of late in an attempt to land a spot in the latest movie of the Rocky franchise. However, the mixed martial arts phenom did not manage to land the role. Now Sylvester Stallone, the actor and writer behind the series, has come forward to reveal which actor will be filling the role instead.
The new upcoming film Creed II will feature the son of Ivan Drago, in which Northcutt worked hard to land the acting gig for. However, in the end, the role was allotted to German-Romanian boxer Florian Munteanu. Taking to Instagram, Stallone made the news official.
