Finally, in the night’s main event from the Perth Arena, in Perth, Western Australia, Australia, two of the UFC’s top middleweights collided for a half an interim title fight, in Yoel Romero vs. Luke Rockhold.
In round 1, it was very much a feeling out process. Rockhold stayed on the outside and used his kicks wisely. Romero not launching much offense.
In round 2, Romero opened up much more explosive, hurting Rochold, doing damage with a nice right hand to the temple. Romero applied much more pressure in the round, but Luke wasn’t too phased.
In round 3, Yoel remained patient, landed a big right and knocked Luke Rockhold out cold.
