An inspiration for deaf people around the world, Matt “The Hammer” Hamill was and is the first and only fighter to fight in the UFC with an inability to hear.
He fought his way through the Ultimate Fighter house, and he even fought and defeated UFC legend Tito Ortiz during the prime of his career.
During his time in the UFC he fought legit championship level talent the likes of Rampage Jackson and Alexander Gustaffson, and left the promotion on a loss to Thiago Silva.
Hamill would go onto retire, but recently returned to action on the winning side of things, and with the UFC headed to his hometown, he wants back in the UFC.
