Austin, Texas hosted a highly entertaining night of fights over the weekend. On Sunday night, Feb. 18, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) made a trip to the Frank Erwin Center to offer fight fans UFC Fight Night 126.
The exciting night of fights featured a welterweight war in the event’s headliner. UFC welterweight phenom Donald Cerrone went toe-to-toe with Yancy Medeiros in front of the Austin crowd in the highly anticipated main event.
Cerrone was looking to pull himself out of a three fight losing streak as he faced off against the fighter. In the end, Cerrone managed to bull rush Medeiros for a TKO victory in the first round.
With the incredible main event finish now in the books, the time has come to see what many of the promotion’s competitors had to say about Cerrone’s big win. Check out what many fighters had to say in the Twitter posts down below:

The urge to hug after getting hurt by your opponent is strong in this main event. #UFCAustin

You can’t be friends with cerrone until after the fight yancy messed up by hugging him before the fight #ufcaustin

Yancy is such a good dude but you can’t play buddy/buddy with Cerrone during a fight. Makes Cowboy that much more comfortable. Same thing happened in Brown fight. #UFCAustin
