Carlos Condit is a mixed martial arts veteran with experience at the highest level of the sport. That being said, the fighter was once forced to work a job outside of mixed martial arts in order to support his family.
Condit is a former UFC interim welterweight champion and a multiple time title challenger. That being said, Condit has since come forward to reveal that he has started his own coffee company as well as worked a few other jobs since not competing in the sport since 2016.
Speaking on The MMA Hour, Condit offered some details.
“I dabbled in a few different things. I was doing some medical sales stuff. I actually started a company as well. I’m a big time coffee guy and I started a coffee company with some guys I met in the medical sales industry. I’m still doing that, and I’m really enjoying it.”
“Building a new company requires a lot of people to work for free. And it’s going really well, but as of now it’s not a paying gig.”
. . .
“Doing some stuff in Orthopedics. It was cool, it was interesting. Obviously, blood doesn’t bother me too much.”
Condit is now set to face off against Matt Brown at UFC on FOX 29. The event goes down April 14 in Glendale, Arizona.
