Cub Swanson Reacts to Being Removed From UFC Rankings, After Just Being In The #4 Slot

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight Cub Swanson entered free agency in December of 2017. Since then, the fighter has been unceremoniously removed from the official UFC rankings. Now the fighter has come forward with a response.

Cub Swanson is coming off of a tough defeat to Brian Ortega at UFC Fight Night 123, bringing the fighter to 25-8 in his stunning mixed martial arts career. While the fighter was No. 4 in the official UFC featherweight rankings, Swanson has since been pulled from the top ten spots.

Consequently, some fight fans have come to speculate that the rankings removal is a reflection of Swanson’s progress in his contract negotiations with the promotion. Now Swanson has come forward with a statement of his own.
