UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson is gearing up for seemingly his toughest match up yet. Still, the mixed martial artist manages to take some time every now and again to joke around. This time, “El Cucuy” has decided to share a rather unexpected list of his top five favorite fighters.
Tony Ferguson is set to take on tough division contender Khabib Nurmagomedov in the main event of the highly anticipated fight card UFC 223. The live pay-per-view event will take place April 7 inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
The two fighters will be battling it out for the undisputed lightweight title, despite Ferguson’s position as the interim champion. Reigning UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor is set to be stripped of his title the moment Nurmagomedov and Ferguson’s have their match up.
Ferguson has been shooting off heated trash-talk with McGregor over social media for some time now, often derisively calling the fighter “McNuggets.” With that in mind, Ferguson has named both Nurmagomedov and McGregor has two of his favorite fighters.
