Paulie Malignaggi Told Ya So! ‘Where’s That Sparring Footage Now?’

Retired boxing phenom Paul Malignaggi has come forward over social media to send another heated message concerning UFC superstar Conor McGregor.

“Notorious” made his professional boxing debut on Aug. 26, 2017 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. For the match up, McGregor went toe-to-toe with undefeated pugilist phenom Floyd Mayweather Jr. inside the squared circle.

In the end, McGregor suffered a TKO loss to his vastly more experienced opponent within the tenth round. Still, the fighter earned the payday of his career for his TKO loss.

Leading up to the fight, McGregor recruited retired boxing ace Paul Malignaggi as a sparring partner. However, the recruitment quickly caused drama within the camp.

After sparring photos were leaked to the internet, framing Malignaggi as having suffered a beatdown to “Notorious,” Malignaggi departed from the camp. A brief sparring video between the two fighters was leaked shortly after, drawing the ire of Malignaggi.

The former champion boxer then demanded that the entire sparring session be released, rather than the brief clip. McGregor claimed that the footage would be publicized only after his fight with Mayweather.

However, the footage was never released. Now Malignaggi has taken to social media to point out the fact. Responding to a fight fan claiming that the footage has yet to be released, Malignaggi responded:

“Should there really have ever been anything to doubt? Especially after his pathetic Boxing display in August? Come on man”
