Women’s UFC flyweight champion champion Nicco Montano has been suffering from a serious injury as of late. That being said, the UFC title holder has since revealed that her foot is doing much better and she is now willing to take on rising contender Valentina Shevchenko.
Former women’s bantamweight title challenger Valentina Shevchenko made her flyweight debut against Priscila Cachoeira at UFC Fight Night 125, earning a dominant finish victory over her opponent. Since then, “Bullet” has been quite vocal about her hopes for a title fight against Montano.
Speaking to KRQE, Montano revealed that she is still healing from her injury. However, the fighter is willing to take on Velantina Shevchenki once she is recovered.
