Frankie Edgar’s Brash And Controversial Manager Ali Abdelaziz Breaks His Silence On UFC 222 K.O.

Former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar suffered a tough loss over the weekend. Now the fighter’s manager has decided to come forward with a statement concerning the recent defeat.

Ali Abdelaziz, manager to Frankie Edgar, has made headlines in the past for making heated statements over other fighters. Most recently, Abdelaziz called UFC superstar Conor McGregor “full of sh*t” within reference to the fighter’s claims that he attempted to fill the empty slot against Frankie Edgar for UFC 222.

Now the manager has come forward to give a statement concerning Edgar’s big loss at the recent event.

Frankie Edgar went toe-to-toe with Brian Ortega at UFC 222 on Saturday night, March 3. Edgar suffered the first knockout loss of his career within the first round of their match up, resulting in a world shocking performance by Ortega.

Abdelaziz has now broken his silence on the matter, taking to Twitter to state:

“I’ve had the pleasure and honor to be part of this living legend @frankieedgar career. We had a small set back Saturday but one think I know about this man is nothing can break him he will be back stronger than ever”
